Spiritual community done your way.

This is not your Daddy's Church

If you crave a spiritual community but do not fit any previous spiritual spaces, welcome home.

Threshold exists for moments like these.

This is a spiritual community devoted to tending the crossings of human life with integrity. We practice devotion that is lived, not abstract. Care that is relational, not performative. Ritual and education that belong inside real bodies, real homes, and real social conditions.

You do not need certainty to be here.
You only need to arrive with care.

What Threshold Is

Threshold is a feminine-led, queer and trans–affirming spiritual community rooted in discernment, embodied practice, and responsibility.

We name power clearly.
We refuse spiritual bypassing.
We practice alchemy over domination.

Our work includes:

  • Spiritual care and ritual for life transitions
  • Monthly Dark Sabbath / Deipnon practice
  • Practical education for women focused on autonomy, safety, discernment, and embodied resilience
  • Social justice and anti-fascism work, grounded in care, preparedness, and community protection
  • Community service as devotion
  • Care for bodies, nervous systems, homes, and daily life

This is not a space for spectacle, urgency addiction, or spiritual performance. It is a space for sincerity, clarity, and grounded action.

What Threshold Is Not

Threshold is not:

  • A guru-led space
  • A belief system you must adopt
  • A content platform or aesthetic identity
  • A place where harm is minimized or spiritualized
  • A substitute for licensed medical or mental health care
  •

We value clarity because clarity protects people.

How to Engage

Membership as safety

For the safety of our community, membership is required to participate.  Membership at Threshold is not about exclusion. It is about continuity.

Members commit to practicing within the community over time, supporting the work according to their means, and engaging with respect for shared values and boundaries. Some seasons are active. Some are quiet. All are valid.

Giving is understood as devotional community care, not transaction.

Community Care, Justice & Mission

Threshold’s spiritual life is inseparable from care in the world.

Through shared support, the community sustains emergency medical services, occupational therapy–based care, and education and support work related to social justice and anti-fascism, particularly for women and marginalized communities. This work is grounded in preparation, discernment, and collective resilience rather than fear or spectacle.

Our current mission work is rooted in Baja, México, and we are actively exploring additional mission projects in other locations as needs, partnerships, and capacity align. We move carefully, prioritizing consent, accountability, and real-world impact over expansion for its own sake.

Care here is not outsourced.
It is practiced together

Care, Boundaries & Accountability

Threshold is founder-led and supported by an Advisory Council that assists with conflict resolution, discernment, and long-term vision stewardship.

We take conflict seriously and handle it with care. We prioritize clarity, repair, and proportional response over avoidance or public spectacle. This community is protected by a Charter and Community Agreement designed to safeguard people, the work, and the container itself.
